Journal Prompts for the Full Hunter’s Moon

For personal use only. Not for sale or distribution.

A full moon will take place October 17, 2024. The Old Farmer’s Almanac traditionally refers to the full moon in October as the Hunter’s Moon when it falls further from the autumn equinox than September’s full moon.

I love using the full moon as a chance to reflect on how my goals are shaping up, places where I need to let go, and committing to actions for the next 30 days or so.

The Hunter’s moon is such an interesting theme to me. As the foliage begins to fall from the trees, the wildlife below become more visible than before. I think it’s such an interesting parallel my own life as I find myself less active than I was in the summer and forced to acknowledge all that’s going on in my head. While things are slowing down in nature, I still have much prepare for the fall and winter holidays and to finish out the year strong before my energy also wanes.

Here is a printable with journal prompts to help you connect with this full moon.
