February Prompts

One of the most common questions I get about journaling every day is “what do I even write about!?” I write about literally anything and everything in my life - what I’ve been up to, what I want to do, what’s happening in nature, something silly my pet did. I get it though, some days the inspiration isn’t there, even though you’ve got everything prepared to get to journaling. Here are five things I’m including in my journal for February, my hope is it serves as a creative spark for you.

  1. Big Game Prediction - We’re a big football household, so I will definitely have to weigh in on who I think will come out victorious. (Bonus - I also want to include my partner’s guac recipe because that’s my favorite football watching snack.)

  2. What I love about me - I don’t know about you, but I often am fixated on my flaws more than my strength. I love using this list as a little boost on hard days.

  3. Personality type - Have you taken any of those online personality tests? I think they can be fun and some have interesting insights. I like taking these at various points and including the results in my journal to see if and how I change.

  4. Favorite quotes - I consider myself a quote collector! I love keeping record of quotes that resonate with me.

  5. Ideal day - I love to include an hour by hour break down of what I would do with the perfect day off. It usually starts with donuts, involves some shopping, animal cuddles, and a nap. I try to give myself this day at least once throughout the year.

Don’t forget to tag me on Instagram @thefeatheredjournal if you include any of these in your journals.
